Project Manager

Avertium is a leading cybersecurity consulting provider that empowers organizations to take a proactive approach to cybersecurity. With a strong focus on delivering tailored solutions, we help businesses navigate the complexities of the threat landscape. Our team is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Professional Services team and support our clients in achieving their cybersecurity goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a liaison between clients, internal resources, and Avertium to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, risk analysis, and reporting to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Coordinate internal resources to ensure flawless project execution and meet client expectations.
  • Supervise progress on task and deliverable development and completion throughout the project life cycle.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Facilitate the flow of information to and from clients regarding project status and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Review high-level deliverables across projects and track project performance to analyze successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths and skill sets.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients and other staff members and report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of Project Management or five years Project Coordination experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Ability to sense, respond to, and appropriately escalate risk and/or change impacting a project.
  • Proven project schedule development and management experience.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience with people management, risk management, and change management.
  • Ability to be proactive and independent, as well as interdependent on the team when necessary.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Solid problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Proven aptitude with project management software, including MS Project.
  • Experience with SharePoint preferred.
  • Experience in the cybersecurity industry preferred.
