Strategic Purchaser

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Purchaser to join our team, overseeing and managing our supply chain operations across the Central and North American subregions.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic purchasing. Proficiency in Spanish and English is mandatory.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the strategic alignment of our procurement activities with our business objectives, fostering strong supplier relationships, and driving cost-effective sourcing strategies.

The successful candidate will manage and develop the supplier base, performance, relationships, and negotiations in close cooperation with Divisions/BLs/Support Functions and Category Managers.

Key responsibilities include creating and updating agreements with suppliers, maintaining SAP Outline Agreements and supplier master data, leading/support/participating in negotiations, securing supplier capacity, and long-term forecasting.

The Strategic Purchaser is expected to represent own business line requirements and take action to find the optimal outcome in Category Works, acting as an active link between the business line and the Category Team.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic purchasing.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, particularly in supplier management modules.
