About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Stx Next Sp Z.O.O. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable data processing systems, including data pipelines, ETL processes, data warehouses, and data lakes.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based data processing systems using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Work with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases like HBase, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
  • Implement distributed data processing systems using Apache Spark, Apache Flink, or similar technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
Requirements
  • Strong experience with Python 3.x, including advanced constructs such as lambda functions, generators, and list comprehension.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and experience with threading and multi-process computation in Python.
  • Experience with code versioning tools like Git and day-to-day work with Docker.
  • Good communication skills in English (minimum B2) and eagerness to develop yourself and learn new technologies.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
