Drive Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Excellence

As a key member of the Watkins Manufacturing team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our procurement lifecycle and leading initiatives that optimize our sourcing strategies across direct and indirect categories. This critical position will shape how we source raw materials, supplies, equipment, and services to manufacture our industry-leading products.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies that enhance our competitive advantage through process excellence across sourcing, supplier management, and management activities.
  • Champion total cost productivity by tracking, analyzing, and publishing cost savings efforts, developing and executing key performance indicators that optimize material costs and improve cash flow performance.
  • Oversight of low-cost country sourcing, managing global supply chain risk, and ensuring strategic approaches to international procurement that minimize risks and maximize opportunities.
  • Implementation of ERP systems and other technologies that support procurement best practices and provide central leadership to sourcing and procurement teams.
  • Represent Watkins Manufacturing in Masco HQ leadership collaborations, initiate and nurture critical supplier relationships, and act as a key escalation point for supplier and strategic partner interactions.
  • Design and implement sourcing and procurement training programs to ensure our teams and suppliers have the capabilities to scale and meet our customers' evolving needs.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in sourcing, supplier management, contract management, and project management.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Visio, and Projects.
  • Knowledge of modern ERP systems.
  • APICS CSCP or CPM certification preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to our Vista, CA, MX facilities and occasionally to our parent company, Masco's facilities in MI.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish speaking required, including writing and speaking effectively in both languages.

Salary:$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
