Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Lead II CDSO Clinical Data Management to join our team at AbbVie. As a key member of our Clinical Data Strategy & Operations team, you will be responsible for leading clinical trial data management operations and ensuring the successful delivery of programs and studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align DSS Study Teams with Program- and Study-Level Strategies: You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for assigned programs and studies.
  • Lead DSS Study Teams and Represent DS on Cross-Functional Study Teams: As a single point of contact, you will be responsible for coordinating DSS study teams and representing DS on cross-functional study teams.
  • Coordinate Associated DSS Study Teams to Meet Operational Objectives: You will engage and connect global functional and cross-functional teams at the study level, ensuring the successful execution of programs and studies.
  • Utilize Operational Analytics and Project Management Tools: You will leverage operational analytics and project management tools to optimize execution, manage internal and external resources, track study progress, and prepare study status reports.
  • Anticipate and Identify Issues Affecting Timelines or Quality: You will proactively identify potential issues and develop options and solutions to ensure the successful delivery of programs and studies.
  • Ensure Adherence to Federal Regulations and Applicable Local Regulations: You will ensure compliance with federal regulations, Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), ICH Guidelines, AbbVie Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and functional quality standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Scientific or Related Fields: You must have a bachelor's degree in a scientific or related field, with an advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 6 Years of Pharma/Clinical Research/Data Management/Healthcare Experience: You must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in pharma, clinical research, data management, or healthcare, with extensive project management experience also considered.
  • In-Depth Understanding of Clinical Trial Processes and Clinical Technology: You must have a deep understanding of clinical trial processes and clinical technology, with experience managing a clinical trial from initiation to completion preferred.
  • Demonstrated Performance as a Functional Leader: You must have demonstrated performance as a functional leader, with the ability to influence others without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated Ability to Successfully Coach/Mentor in a Matrix Environment: You must have demonstrated ability to successfully coach and mentor in a matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated Effective Communication and Analytical Skills: You must have demonstrated effective communication and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively communicate clearly and concisely in all forms of communication.
