Job Summary

Amazon's Device Software & Services (DS2) Localization team is looking for an experienced Localization Manager to join our Program Management team. As a key member of the team, you will oversee the end-to-end localization process for Amazon Device software, ensuring high-quality, culturally relevant experiences for our customers worldwide. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, QA, Legal, Marketing, and Product, to drive the Localization roadmap and meet business objectives.

Responsibilities
• Lead a team of program managers who own the end-to-end localization experience for Amazon Device software
• Interface with feature development teams, product teams, engineering teams, QA teams, and Marketing teams within the Amazon Devices organization
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive the Localization roadmap and meet business objectives
• Manage resource allocation, AI/LLM projects, roadmap prioritization, and strategic communication
• Proactively manage change control, remove obstacles, and provide guidance to ensure seamless delivery

Requirements
• 5+ years of team management experience
• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• 5+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
• Experience owning program strategy and end-to-end delivery
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
• Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Translation, Localization Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or Marketing
