Job Summary:
Nissan Motors is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to support projects and activities across the data management and governance framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management principles, data quality, and data governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Lifecycle Management: Implement data lifecycle management solutions to protect, preserve, and manage HR data assets, ensuring data is accurate, available, and accessible.
- Data Catalog Development: Support the development and ongoing maintenance of the global data catalog to support data health and proper use of HR data.
- Data Oversight: Support data oversight activities for how data is created, collected, and maintained to proactively monitor, detect, and review data issues for root causes to prevent data failures.
- KPI Reporting: Maintain and report on KPIs to measure adoption and implementation, working with data owners, data stewards, and technical stakeholders to develop and maintain data quality scorecards.
- Data Literacy: Facilitate the documentation and approval of data health/quality guidelines and support data literacy efforts across HR to foster a data-driven culture.
- Project Management: Support user group meetings, serve as a project team member on projects and initiatives, and manage customer expectations through timely checkpoints.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years of directly related professional experience supporting HCM platform business processes, data operations, and data management solutions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a Quantitative, Technical, or Business field.
- Language: Advanced English.
