About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Upstream Planning Manager to join our team at Schneider Electric Norge As. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that our suppliers are prepared to meet our demand, while also driving best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management: Collaborate with Procurement to develop joint business plans for critical suppliers, and implement a monthly process to track, monitor, and improve monthly forecast accuracy and bias.
  • Materials Planning: Lead the development and formulation of long and mid-range planning, policies, programs, and objectives related to Materials Planning Management.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of planners managing key suppliers, and drive change and deliver results through solid network management and change management experience.
  • Crisis Management: Develop and implement supplier escalation processes to drive stability, and work with the plant upstream planner to set up a task force to avoid customer impact in case of severe shortage.
  • Supplier Performance: Monitor supplier performance and proactively identify and mitigate risks, and create performance metrics and standards for all aspects of materials management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree a bonus.
  • Language: Fluent in English, Spanish is of value.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Supplier Management, SIOP, S&OP, Integrated Business Planning, Demand Planning, Procurement, Operations, Inventory Management, Capacity Management.
  • Skills: Global view, ability to define and deploy corporate strategy, strong influence and conviction skills, resilient in the face of challenge, ability to drive change and deliver results, solid network management, change management experience, mentoring and developing talent, excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
