About the Role:

We're working with a top client in the automotive industry to develop next-gen electric vehicles. As a Senior Propulsion Systems Engineer, you'll participate in providing support to the End Of Line verification/validation for the Electric Propulsion System of the Vehicles, including battery efficiency, energy distribution, etc.

Main Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electric Engineering, Electronics, Automotive, or a related field, with 4+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Experience working with propulsion systems, motor trains, and electric systems.
  • Knowledge of Diagnostic Protocols (Keyword 2000 and/or UDS) and CAN messaging structure & protocol for the CAN-Bus layer.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems test interface tools and high-voltage testing.
  • Participate in the definition of the EOL norm and in plant EOL activities.
  • Aftertreatment diagnostics, evaporative leak detection diagnostics, or comprehensive component monitoring (circuit checks, rationalities, and functional checks including automatic learnings).
  • Experience authoring Requirements and specifications.
  • Conversational English (B2+ level).
  • Willing to work on-site at client plants and travel to client locations inside Mexico, and work the night shift 1-2 weeks per month.
