Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Costing Engineer PowerTrain to join our team at A2MAC1. As a key member of our international team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers by carrying out costing assignments and studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cost studies, analyzing input data, identifying materials and manufacturing processes, and costing them using in-house tools and methodologies.
  • Understand and explain product operation, identifying and recommending ways to optimize the cost of a system.
  • Conduct cost/performance benchmarking and value analysis studies to identify efficiency improvement opportunities for our customers.
  • Prepare study reports in accordance with required quality standards.
  • Support our customers' purchasing departments in their negotiations by providing fact-based costing data.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an engineering school, or equivalent engineering master degree in automation, systems engineering, or manufacturing/production.
  • 3+ year minimum experience in a major engineering company, as a powertrain cost engineer, or 5+ year minimum experience in a major engineering company, as a systems/technical design/manufacturing engineer.
  • Knowledge of industrial manufacturing and assembly processes.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Keen interest in automotive industry and its products, innovation and manufacturing technologies.
  • Culture of cost, as well as a true spirit of analysis and synthesis.
  • Result oriented with operational excellence.
  • Fluent English written & oral (minimum B2).
