Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Products Business Intelligence Solutions Engineer to join our team at Western Digital. As a key member of our data-centric solutions team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining purpose-built advanced data products and solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement data models, machine learning models, dashboards, and reports in Power BI.
- Create full-circle solutions using Power Platform for complex automated processes and workflows.
- Document business cases in technical form requirements, architecture, solution, and business outcome.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them to technical solutions using Power Platform, CI/CD, Python, and R, SQL.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Power BI and the entire Microsoft Power Platform suite.
- Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and creating visualizations to provide contextual storytelling.
- Strong T-SQL and database management skills - knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise a plus.
- Knowledge of DAX and M (Power Query Formula Language).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data integration methods.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and deploying data product solutions that meet business needs.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Solid knowledge of building and validating machine learning models, data wrangling and cleaning, domain knowledge for IT infrastructure, continuous and rapid evolution of skills.
