We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Programme Coordinator to join our team at Oxfam Gb.
Job Description:- Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
- Location: Ghana
- Reports to: Programme Effectiveness Manager
Overview:
Oxfam in Ghana is committed to tackling poverty and inequality through sustainable development and humanitarian programmes. As a Strategic Programme Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Programme Effectiveness Team to achieve our strategic ambitions.
Main Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing technical coordination support in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning activities (MEAL) and knowledge management to ensure effective campaign and programme delivery. This includes:
- Supporting the Programme Effectiveness Lead in managing the OPAL system
- Coordinating partnership management processes and programmes
- Developing and implementing approaches and systems for delivering accountability to beneficiaries, donors, and stakeholders
- BUILDING THE CAPACITY OF PARTNERS IN MEAL SYSTEMS AND APPROACHES AS APPROPRIATE
- Conducting programme and campaign monitoring activities with gender lenses
- Writing and contributing to Oxfam's communication bulletins in country
- Supporting assessment of new potential partners and developing capacity building plans
- Implementing feedback mechanisms with communities and partners
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of MEAL principles and practices
- Experience in programme coordination and management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
