Nemak is seeking a highly skilled Lean Engineer to join our team. As a Lean Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and aligning lean tools to our work systems, auditing and monitoring system standards, and providing feedback to ensure adherence to our Global Operating Model and Quality System.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Implement and align lean tools to Nemak's work systems, ensuring seamless integration and maximum efficiency.
- Audit and monitor the respect of system standards, providing constructive feedback to team members and stakeholders.
- Analyze and identify opportunities for process improvement, documenting and implementing best practices.
- Lead business improvement projects, focusing on Kaizen, optimization, cost reduction, and 5S initiatives.
- Establish labor standards aligned to volume requirements and validated through Value Stream Mapping analysis.
- Monitor compliance to cycle times established for each production equipment, ensuring optimal productivity.
- Define material handling standards for each production process, ensuring efficient and safe workflows.
**Requirements**
- Education: Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Decision-making, conflict management, report development, action-oriented, and negotiation skills.
- Language: Advanced English proficiency.
