Key Responsibilities- Direct and assist Stewards to optimize cleaning efficiency and ensure high-quality service standards.
- Monitor and maintain water temperature and chemical levels for cleaning purposes.
- Assist with Banquet plate-ups and support cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.
- Provide cooks with necessary items and support banquet and buffet operations by transporting and ensuring adequate stock.
- Return cleaned items to their designated locations and operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools.
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, and anticipate and address guests' service needs.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language, and develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, and perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time, and reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
