Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage web proxy systems (e.g., McAfee Web Gateway).
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of threat protection methodologies (e.g., IPS/IDS).
- Demonstrate expertise in WAN technologies and protocols, including best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Manage routing protocols (Static, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and their configurations.
- Ensure high availability and redundancy in network systems.
- Develop and implement operational processes that enhance cloud security capabilities.
- Monitor cloud security resources and address any identified issues.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure security compliance in development processes.
- Stay informed about updates from Cloud Service Providers and assess their security implications.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and subject matter experts to maintain robust security architecture.
- Identify opportunities for integrating new technologies to address current and future challenges.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with LAN and WAN technologies, particularly with Cisco Firewalls, Routers, and Switches.
- At least 2 years of experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls in an enterprise context.
- A minimum of 3 years in Information Security roles with increasing responsibilities.
- Experience managing infrastructure and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
- Familiarity with cloud security fundamentals and data protection controls.
- Proven ability to manage substantial financial portfolios and operational budgets.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as Palo Alto Certification (PCNSE 6 and above) and Information Security or Cloud Certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are advantageous.
