We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our team at Bendix. As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for owning engineering product responsibility for a specific product or family of products.
Key Responsibilities- Manage engineering activities for product changes, including creation and revision of part numbers, 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and engineering documents within a PLM system.
- Perform tolerance stack analysis and GD&T analysis to validate design components and assemblies for manufacturing.
- Define and develop DVPRs and DFMEAs, and own engineering responsibility for a product or family of products.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams, quality engineers, suppliers, and customers to develop processes complying with product design requirements.
- Make engineering decisions based on requested data for supplier PPAPs and product specification deviations.
- At least 8 years of related engineering experience, with strong product design responsibility experience.
- Experience working in cost reduction projects and managing engineering changes.
- Proficiency in CAD modeling, PDMs, and GD&T ASME standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Engineering, with bilingual skills (100%).
