As a Process Quality Engineer at Continental, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes. Your tasks will include creating and tracking quality production performance and KPIs, conducting production audits, and maintaining product and production documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and track quality production performance and KPIs like non-conformance costs, first pass yield, internal rejects, and statistical process control.
- Conduct production audits and support customer audits.
- Create and maintain control plans.
- Maintain product and production documentation.
- Plan and perform quality activities for changes in production.
- Support scrap reduction efforts and reduction in customer complaints.
Requirements
- Quality Methods and Continental standards (e.g. Structured Problem Solving, Risk Management, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, Control Plan, Change Management).
- Statistics (SPC).
- SAP (e.g. CQTS).
- External Automotive norms (e.g. IATF 16949, VDA 6.3).
- Auditor knowledge (internal auditor).
- MS Office.
- Language skills (English desirable).
- Work experience in automotive area or quality management highly recommended (best case min. 2 years).
