About the Role

The Client Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with current customers and identifying new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation. This role requires a strong understanding of leasing, rates, terms, financing alternatives, billing, and vehicle expense reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business and share of wallet opportunities with customers and prospects.
  • Identify needs and develop proposals with Element's value-added services.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end sales process, including risk underwriting, customer visits, contract negotiation, and implementation.
  • Accountable for the overall relationship management of assigned clients, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Oversee line renewals and legal changes, introducing new products and services to enhance profitability.
  • Responsible for developing, planning, and executing a strategic account plan, including coordinating with strategic consulting projects and business reviews.

Requirements

  • Desirable 5+ years of relevant business experience.
  • Post-secondary education preferred, with a BA/BS or MBA.
  • Proficient in English language, both written and oral.
  • Experience within the vehicle management or a related financial/asset-based industry is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time, depending on client portfolio and sales events.
  • Strong communication skills, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • World-class negotiation skills with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong customer focus with superior levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Capable of negotiating with C-levels.
