Recreation Specialist

Job Summary

As a Recreation Specialist at Marriott International, you will be responsible for creating a fun and relaxing atmosphere for our guests. This includes encouraging, recruiting, registering, and scheduling guests to participate in recreation activities. You will also provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities, promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility, and observe activity in the recreational facility. Additional responsibilities include reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, completing safety training and certifications, and maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information. Key Responsibilities

• Encourage and recruit guests to participate in recreation activities
• Register and schedule guests for recreation activities
• Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities
• Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility
• Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in accordance with local operating procedure
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certification and First Aid Certification
• Recreation Equipment Certification
• Any certification or training required by local and state agencies
