We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at CommScope. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate activities of Quality Assurance program through site Quality Systems on raw materials, product on process and finish product.
- Assure compliance with ISO 9000 and TL9000 requirements.
- Manage all activities and resources required to perform this position.
- Will manage and supervise quality inspectors and quality technicians.
- Coordinate Assurance and Quality Control activities.
- Dealing with intercompany and customer notifications related to assigned production area.
- Run reports and updates to support decision making process in quality.
- Promote and practice structured continuous improvements through the use of quality tools.
- Improve effectiveness of Quality management systems through participation in internal audits, management reviews and document reviews. Facilitate effective corrective actions.
- Identify and report quality problems or trends. Assist in identifying and eliminating the root causes of these problems.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Experience 2-4 years in Quality within a Manufacturing Environment.
- Proficient in English language (written and spoken).
- Proven skills on quality tools (PFMEA, 8D, 5 whys, Process Control Plan).
- Experience in Statistical Data Management (Minitab).
- Experience with the development and documentation of quality systems processes and procedures.
- Able to work without supervision, communication skills, assertiveness.
- Certified Quality Auditor or Certified Quality Engineer.
