The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial building design, with a focus on office buildings, healthcare facilities, sports venues, and other large commercial structures with construction costs of US$25 million and up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop structural systems for commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, and contractors, to deliver high-quality projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve design and delivery processes.
- Contribute to the development of company-wide initiatives, sharing expertise and knowledge to drive business growth and innovation.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years' experience in commercial building design, with a focus on structural engineering.
- Bachelor's and Master's License in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
- Bi-lingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Professional license in relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience designing building structures, with a focus on seismic design.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
