We are seeking a highly skilled Wood Applications Designer to join our team at Steelcase. As a key member of our Wood product lines, you will be responsible for designing solutions for leadership spaces, including highly customized C Level suites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create CET files, BOMs, PDFs with renders, elevation, and plan views to support sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Perform specification and technical checks for orders and mockups, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with the Steelcase specials teams to create special verbiage and submit RFQs as needed.
- Communicate with field sales and dealers to schedule scoping calls, determine requested deliverables, and provide project updates.
- Support internal teams, such as Product Marketing and showroom teams, with design support and resources.
- Populate completed projects on the shared Wood EXP Microsoft Teams site.
- Participate in weekly team calls to share learnings, tips, and challenges, and contribute to team resource development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or industrial design.
- 1+ years' experience in similar roles, with proficiency in architectural drawing and rendering software.
- Advanced English language skills are a must.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, and CET.
- MS Office Environment proficiency.
