- Assist in coaching junior staff by helping them to make decisions and solve problems and providing feedback on testing-related tasks.
- May manage less experienced test leads.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of leading large test teams or similar management position.
- 5+ years of experience in game testing.
- Preferred higher education in technology.
- Experience in dealing with game studios preferred.
- A professional level of proficiency in the English language.
- Ability to prioritize in a complex and fast-paced environment.
- Passion for video games and knowledge of video game market.
- Good interpersonal skills, creativity, efficiency, attention to detail, and good work organization.
- Strong academic or practical knowledge of QA methodologies and tools, software testing standards, strategies, and the software development cycle.
- Demonstrated capability in writing detailed area test plan documents, executing test strategies, and performing exploratory testing.
- Experience testing in an Agile context.
- Working knowledge of Atlassian tool suite e.g. JIRA, Confluence.
