Job Summary:

As a Freight Delivery Specialist II at FedEx, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of packages. Your responsibilities will include providing courteous and professional service to customers, sorting and delivering packages, and maintaining accurate records of shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring packages are delivered promptly and efficiently

• Sort and deliver packages according to designated routes and time frames

• Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking and delivery information

• Ensure compliance with FedEx safety policies and procedures

• Operate a company vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to specific country regulations and corporate policies

• Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency in daily operations

• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent required

• 2.5 years of experience maneuvering 3.5 tons or heavier equipment

• 6 months of experience as a FedEx Express Courier

• Possess a valid driver's license (type C) for the assigned vehicle, in accordance with specific country regulations

• Good driving record

• Ability to lift 70 lbs (32kgs) and maneuver packages of any weight with the assistance of equipment or another person

• Neat and clean-cut appearance

• Good verbal and written communication skills, human relations, and team player skills
