Job Summary
As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will provide critical equipment and process support to our workcells, ensuring seamless operations within our facility. Your expertise in maintenance and repair will be instrumental in maintaining our equipment and processes, driving efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance and record-keeping.
  • Determine work priorities in alignment with production schedules and collaborate with department and line supervisors.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for escalated issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Provide training and support to machine support technicians, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Identify and address repetitive equipment problems, designing long-term solutions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Facilitate New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Support line operations, providing critical support to machine support technicians as needed.
  • Drive improvements in line metrics, efficiency, and yield, ensuring our manufacturing processes are optimized.
  • Display a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
  • Ensure timely completion of PM tasks and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Stay up-to-date on health and safety issues, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Support New Product Introduction/Prototype runs, ensuring successful product launches.
  • Monitor department performance and drive improvements, ensuring our manufacturing operations are world-class.

Requirements
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer, including Windows-based operating systems and related software.
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and read and understand visual aids.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions and deal with standardized situations.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
