As an Automotive Engineering Designer at Michelin, you will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies to evaluate potential solutions for automotive systems. This involves analyzing costs, deadlines, risks, and functional criteria to determine the best course of action.
Key Deliverables:
- Validated CDCs (Conceptual Design Criteria) for feasibility studies
- Evaluated solutions based on costs, deadlines, risks, and functional criteria
- Managed change requests according to the DE/Release process
- Implemented quality systems and methods for the group, including risk analysis, FMEA, design reviews, quality planning, and treatment of non-conformities
- Obtained validations for equipment made in collaboration with related industries
- Supported prototype projects managed by process development teams
- Maintained up-to-date "as built" folders
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
