As a global leader in the flavor and fragrance industry, International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Procurement Lead to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to secure raw materials supply to IFF locations through effective management of the entire supply chain and its synergies with other areas at a lower possible cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement of raw materials
  • Participation in global, regional, and local negotiations
  • Total Cost of Ownership management
  • Implementation of global and regional strategies at the plant level
  • Alignment with IFF internal requirements, including GRA, SOX, ISO, etc.

Job Functions:

  • Negotiation of raw materials at the local level with or without global/regional contracts (landed cost)
  • Monitoring and reporting of internal processes for new suppliers and raw materials, including associated costs
  • Participation in the Category Excellence Team as a member of the Latin America region
  • SAP maintenance and input for procurement operations
  • Supplier disruptions, risk management, and supplier evaluation
  • Implementation of IFF's code of business principles
  • New win analysis with a focus on implementing new raw materials together with C&A and Operations teams
  • Maintenance of close communication with related areas, including Operations, C&A, Sales, Finance, etc.
  • Implementation of ISO and SOX policies

Required Experience:

  • Materials Planning System (MRP, ERP)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
  • SAP MM module
  • ISO 9000
  • SOX
  • Buying certification, such as APICS, SCM, or SPSM
  • Customs and international trade experience
  • Logistics
  • Fluency in English
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
