**Empowering Chubb with Data Excellence**

We are seeking a seasoned Data Quality Specialist to join our Technology Hub in Mexico - CBSM (Chubb Business Services Monterrey) as part of our data engineering team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive data quality initiatives and define testing strategies for data assurance.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate data pipelines and pinpoint potential issues.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and gaps in data quality.
- Take ownership of data quality metrics, dashboards, and alerts, ensuring seamless data integrity.
- Work in tandem with data engineering and data science teams to remediate data quality issues and enhance data reliability.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data quality processes and make recommendations for improvements.
- Contribute to the automation of data quality tests and processes using SQL scripts, Python, and PySpark.
- Collaborate with software developers in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.

**Requirements and Desired Skills:**

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in SQL and experience with complex SQL queries, data validation, and manipulation.
- Good knowledge of Python programming language.
- Proficient in testing methodologies and experience with test planning, test execution, and defect management.
- Familiarity with data quality concepts, data profiling, and data validation techniques.
- Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark is a significant plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
