About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering our strategy to build mind share and broad usage of AWS's utility computing services within organizations and the larger partner ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with customers to architect solutions to difficult problems, leveraging your technical skills and expertise in cloud computing and software development.
  • Focus on work where the business objective, opportunity, and strategy are defined, but the technical solution design is not.
  • Take the time to understand your customer's business context, including outcome priorities, customer experience, shared goals, and business case.
  • Own the end-to-end design of your solutions, and support other SAs when encountering complex risks or constraints.
  • Be proficient at leveraging existing solutions and repeatable design patterns where appropriate, and create new solutions with potential for future reuse.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
