At Corning Inc., we are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee facility and/or construction projects. This role involves collaborating with Engineers, Architects, and Contractors to develop project plans, timelines, and resource distributions.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 5-7 years of experience in project management, as well as 3-5 years of experience in construction and/or facility management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing comprehensive project plans, including timelines and resource allocations.
  • Coordinating and overseeing construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications.
  • Evaluating and selecting contractors and subcontractors based on qualifications, experience, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitoring project progress, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting on project milestones to stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements, prioritizing a safe working environment for all involved.
