About the Role

ZF Friedrichshafen AG is seeking a highly skilled APQP, PPAP, Launch Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the development and launch of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with key automotive industry clients, including Stellantis, Ford, and GM, to ensure timely resolution of quality-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of client quality systems, including IATF 16949, to ensure compliance and effective collaboration.
  • Coordinate and monitor actions derived from client notifications, including quality meetings, status updates, and follow-up on 8D analysis.
  • Prepare and present documentation required for the closure of corrective actions, ensuring seamless communication with clients.
  • Monitor customer quality systems and provide customer service to follow up on quality-related issues and performance monitoring.
  • Participate in customer and quality system audits to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement client quality systems, including IATF 16949.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in quality assurance.
  • Proven experience in quality systems, including IATF 16949, ISO14001, ISO45001, and ISO9001.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in statistical tools (SPC) and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
