The AD&M Engineering Excellence team is responsible for enabling and equipping the entire global AD&M Engineering Team. This position offers a unique opportunity for someone to use their knowledge and abilities to oversee all aspects of Predictable execution using DFSS for an entire engineering organization.
This role will work directly with the AD&M engineering teams to provide leadership and expertise in executing an efficient Product design process using DFSS tools and practices, ensuring first-time right outputs.
Key Responsibilities- Support the deployment of DFSS in the AD&M Engineering function.
- Define annual training calendar for DFSS training.
- Work with Product Engineering managers on resolving problems using DFSS.
- Mentor DFSS GB candidates for project completion and certification.
- Participate in key project reviews as a DFSS champion.
- Share best practices on DFSS across Business Units.
- 5+ years' experience in Engineering Product design, Continuous Improvement, or Project Management.
- Bachelor's Degree required (Engineering degree preferred).
- Certified Design for Six Sigma Black Belt.
- Highly effective communicator and influencer, with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Organization savvy, with the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in project management in complex organizations operating on a global scale.
- Experience in leading process improvements across organizations.
