The University of Rochester is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Assistant Professor to join our team. As a key member of our School-Based Health Center, you will provide exceptional mental health services to youth and adolescents, ages 11-20.

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations to develop treatment plans and assess psychopharmacologic needs.
• Provide consultation and guidance to multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Develop and maintain a customer-oriented approach to meeting patient needs, involving families in the plan of care as appropriate.
• Adhere to evidence-based guidelines and maintain confidentiality and patient privacy.
• Document treatment and billing services in the electronic medical record, ensuring compliance with Division and hospital policies.
• Serve as an information resource to the SBHC multidisciplinary team and patients.

• Medical degree (MD) required.
• Licensed to practice in New York State required.
• At least two years of clinical experience with youth and adolescents preferred.
