About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team at Epicor. As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust full-stack web applications using Kotlin and Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop full-stack web applications with a strong focus on scalability and maintainability.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to architectural standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the product team to design and implement new features and enhancements.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of commercial software development experience in back-end or full-stack roles.
  • Expertise in Kotlin and Java 8+.
  • Proficiency in the Spring Boot framework.
  • Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with both microservice and monolithic architectures.
  • The ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in unit/integration testing, with a good understanding of testing frameworks such as JUnit/TestNG/Mocking/Test Containers.
  • Strong understanding of clean code principles and design patterns.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Spring Cloud and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of containerization with Kubernetes and Redis as a data store.
  • Experience with front-end development frameworks like Vaadin 8+ and familiarity with JavaScript/CSS.
