Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled R&D Manager with expertise in food science and engineering to lead our product development efforts. This role will be responsible for managing R&D projects, developing new products, and improving existing ones. The successful candidate will have a strong background in food formulation, processing technologies, and project management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead R&D projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and meeting business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, marketing, and procurement, to develop and implement new products and processes.
- Develop and manage budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and industry best practices.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is required.
ExperienceAt least 6 years of experience in product and process management, preferably in the consumer goods industry, with a focus on food science and engineering.
Skills- Fluent English language skills (written and spoken).
- Strong technical expertise in food science, food engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with teams.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills to manage multifunctional and technical teams.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, interpret results, and draw actionable insights.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in experimental procedures, data collection, and documentation.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
