As a Health, Safety, and Environment Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of our employees and the sustainability of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing site-wide HSE programs to drive a proactive approach to safety and environmental management
  • Coaching Operations management to adopt a risk management approach and ensure mitigation measures are in place to reduce risks and improve HSE performance
  • Leading site-level HSE governance, reporting, and trends analysis to ensure compliance with local legislation, ISO 14001 and 45001, and Bombardier HSE requirements
  • Representing the site with external health, safety, and environment regulatory agencies
  • Participating in site and local HSE committees, as well as the joint health and safety committee
  • Managing the site HSE team and budget

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in HSE or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in HSE, preferably in a manufacturing, unionized environment with experience in a leadership role
  • Experience in developing and implementing site-wide HSE programs, providing strategic and hands-on support in HSE
  • Strong interpersonal skills, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to interact and interface with all levels of the organization
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and bilingualism (English and Spanish)
