Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Strategist to join our team at Maxeon, a leading company in solar energy. As Sr. Indirect Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and execution of sourcing strategies that deliver high-quality, cost-effective materials.

Your mission is to ensure timely delivery of materials that meet manufacturing build schedules and project requirements. You will work closely with the Purchasing Manager and regional resources to implement and maintain purchase contracts with suppliers.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering results that positively impact client/user work effectiveness and efficiency. Your strong understanding of project scope and logic will enable you to demonstrate business outcomes and assist with purchasing processes.

You will also support regional resources in managing data collection to support supplier performance metrics and team performance metrics.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of related experience OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
  • Bilingual (English Spanish)
  • Experience in purchasing, administration, supplier development, cost reduction, and negotiation skills
