Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Supervisor to join our team at Johnson Controls.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials to meet the company's inventory levels, turns, cost, quality, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze KPI reports on a weekly basis to ensure compliance with corporate and plant purchasing goals.
- Manage, develop, motivate, and train material planning staff to optimize procurement processes.
- Develop and recommend procedures and methods for managing the purchase of goods and services required by the plant.
- Collaborate with design engineering functions to evaluate alternate materials and process changes.
- Review and follow up on E&O to minimize inventory impact.
- Support procurement initiatives to reduce costs, lead times, and inventory levels.
- Maintain inventory at the lowest possible level while ensuring efficient operational processes and customer delivery expectations.
- Perform special projects related to the function as assigned.
- Implement and maintain security policies, health, and environment at work.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or operations management.
- 5 years of related experience, with at least 2 years as a supervisor in a supply chain role.
- Proven SAP software experience.
- Strong English written and communication skills.
- APICS Certification in CPIM preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse situations and with different areas to accomplish common objectives.
- Work with integrity and trust.
