We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator II to join our team at Localizationacademy. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing localization projects from planning to execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Plan and manage localization schedules from translation to QA to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate timelines and test results across multiple stakeholders, including Localization Program Managers, Language Managers, Engineers, QA, Vendors, and Content Designers.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, setting clear expectations for stakeholders and localizers.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Analyze current pain points in workflows and tools, provide suggestions for improvements, and pilot implementation of new processes.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Make independent decisions and work well under pressure in the face of ambiguity and aggressive deadlines.
  • Bug Triage and Escalation: Prioritize, triage, and escalate i18n bugs, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on projects.
Requirements
  • Experience: Track record of working in Localization, QA, and Project Management, with experience in task prioritization and problem-solving.
  • Skills: Solid understanding of common challenges with developing products for international markets, experience with localization platforms, file formats, and CAT tools, and familiarity with product and software development processes.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as International Business, Project Management, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Localization Experience: Experience with localization platforms, file formats, and CAT tools, or similar in-house localization tools and platforms.
  • Software Development Experience: Familiarity with product and software development processes, including experience in software localization, localization program management, or management of localization technology solutions.
