Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team.

**Job Overview**

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper accounting of the balance sheet and P&L for multiple ledgers and legal entities, in accordance with Eaton Financial Policy, Mexican GAAP and US GAAP. Additionally, they will ensure compliance with statutory, fiscal and tax requirements for Mexican legal entities.

**Responsibilities**

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to coordinate the annual costing roll process, track monthly costs, and manage margin variations related to COGS. The ideal candidate will also ensure proper register & reconciliation of payroll and benefits, between TRESS ERP and SAP Financial modules, travel and expense processing.

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will:

  • Ensure compliance of accounts payable activities, such as: invoice processing, debit memo processing, management of the monthly cash outflows, recurring payment and supplier payment follow-up activities, payroll and benefits, travel and expense processing, hold resolution, and compliance with electronic invoicing regulations and addressing supplier payment issues, among others.
  • Establish and monitor compliance with internal accounting controls deemed necessary to ensure integrity of financial transactions, reporting and activities in adherence with corporate policies and procedures. Ensure compliance of statutory requirements as applicable to the plant.
  • Responsible for the implementation and deployment of actions to ensure an adequate environment of fiscal compliance and internal control, across the plant. Provide compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and all applicable statutory requirements as applicable across various functions.
  • Coordinate and manage Mexican tax and audit compliance activities. Ensure timely submission of fiscal requirements to auditors and authorities.

**Requirements**

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor degree in Business, Accountant, Finance or similar.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with cost accounting is a plus.
  • Experience with a team leadership.

**Desirable skills and qualifications**

Candidates with the following skills and qualifications will be preferred:

  • Knowledge of US GAAP - preferred.
  • SAP knowledge will be a plus.
  • Working knowledge of electronic data processing systems as well as strong knowledge of spreadsheet software packages.
  • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable, credit and collection and general accounting that enables the incumbent to solve daily and high exposure problems.

**Estimated salary:** $80,000 - $110,000 per year (depending on location and experience)
