Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor - Operations Leader to oversee and coordinate repairs and moderately complex maintenance on a wide variety of building and facility equipment, fixtures, and systems. This role will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management
    • Recruit, interview, and hire maintenance technicians
    • Monitor team member turnover and identify key factors for improvement
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and counseling as needed
  • Cost Management
    • Identify opportunities to reduce costs through process improvements and system optimization
    • Monitor departmental costs and cost trends to ensure continuous improvement
  • Technical Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance technicians
    • Provide technical guidance and support to ensure the efficient operation of facilities
    • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and perform necessary actions
    • Train and supervise employees in new techniques and safe work practices

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Three to five years of experience in maintenance, including supervision
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership, cost management, and technical management
