We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Clarios. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

**Job Summary:**

The Financial Operations Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes, including accounts payable, employee expenses, and cash management. This individual will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payment processing, reconcile bank statements, and maintain strict confidentiality over sensitive financial information.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Coordinates and processes daily payments on behalf of the organization, including accounts payable and employee expenses* Ensures all payments are distributed to authorizers and submitted before relevant cutoff times* Maintains a rota of payment authorizers to guarantee timely payment deadlines* Monitors bank accounts for rejected payments/account balances and acts as a point of contact between the bank and the business regarding processed payments* Updates bank signatories in a timely manner and maintains bank mandate files* Assists with the preparation of cash flow forecasts and collaborates with treasury counterparts to ensure efficient and effective cash and liquidity management* Measures monthly manual payments from around the business* Resolves payment-related queries or problems promptly, delivering excellent customer service standards and escalating process issues and non-conformance as required* Assists in reviewing and developing payment processes, procedures, and systems* Maintains strict confidentiality over employee data and proprietary organizational information, ensuring full compliance with Data Protection regulations* Assist with month-end, quarterly, and annual closings, including owning specified booking and banking reconciliations* Collaborate with internal and external auditors

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 1 year of experience in an accountant position or similar, with a degree in finance/accounting*
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and strong relationships with remote business partners and higher management*
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, including database design and implementation, formula utilization for automation, Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, and View development

*The salary range for this position is approximately **$65,000 - $85,000 per annum**, depending on location and experience. Clarios offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
