Key Responsibilities- Analyze global and country-level economic and political developments to assess sovereign creditworthiness and the risk of a crisis in a country.
- Determine country risk ratings, watch list status, country risk limits, scenario planning and stress testing on a country or regional basis.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize credit losses, losses due to cross border restrictions, market losses, operational losses, damage to Citi franchise and/or reputation.
- Assess risk/return trade-offs associated with transactions, products, analytical tools and client relationships.
- Manage crises and high risk scenarios, assessing stress testing impact of risk on portfolio value and capital and advising the business accordingly.
- Identify key risks and all respective components of a problem, leading to resolution.

- Set approvals and reviews country-managed cross border limits for global and other important countries as required.
