Purchasing Project Management Administrator

Bosch, a leading technology and services company, is seeking a highly skilled professional to join its team as a Purchasing Project Management Administrator. As a key member of the Corporate Purchasing team, you will play a crucial role in managing external procurement projects worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interface with Corporate Purchasing and the Business to ensure seamless project execution
  • Manage Engineering Changes affecting purchased components to maintain product quality and efficiency
  • Act as a product technical interface to suppliers, fostering strong relationships and driving business growth

Specific Duties:

  • Project management of external procurement for new projects, including platform, variants, and applications worldwide
  • Oversee project goals, including expenses, quality, scheduled dates, and budget, to ensure successful project delivery
  • Participate in the Supply Chain Excellence (SE) Team, coordinating SE work with suppliers to drive business excellence
  • Engage in technical supplier discussions to negotiate favorable terms and conditions
  • Interface with the purchasing organization on strategic and operative topics to drive business growth
  • Supervise series products, including Engineering Change Management, to ensure product quality and efficiency
  • Establish second suppliers to ensure business continuity and reduce reliance on single suppliers
  • Lead ratio-projects and change management initiatives to drive business excellence

Requirements:

  • Mechanical or Industrial Engineer preferred, with a strong understanding of production processes and quality management
  • Proven project management experience, with a track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications in engineering areas
  • Experience in the Automotive Industry, with a strong understanding of production processes and quality management
  • Expertise in production processes, including APQP and project management methodologies
  • Knowledge of tools and purchasing processes, including SAP and PILLUM

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Flexibility in working hours and remote working arrangements, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
