About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Project Manager Intern to join our Language Service Team. As a Junior Language Project Manager Intern, you will participate in various steps of language management for diverse business projects, gaining hands-on experience in the dynamic field of technology-driven language solutions.

You will be responsible for receiving, managing, tracking, and delivering language and translation projects. This will include analyzing client requests and requirements, creating briefs, and allocating workloads. You will also prioritize and schedule translation assignments, set up workflows, and manage processes in accordance with strict quality assurance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Receive, manage, track, and deliver language and translation projects.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control on generative texts to uphold linguistic excellence and accuracy.
  • Terminology Management: Maintain and align glossaries, term bases, and style guides to support consistent linguistic outputs.
  • Project Management Support: Assist in basic project management tasks to facilitate the smooth execution of language and technology projects.
  • Machine Translation QA: Perform quality assurance on machine-translated content to enhance overall translation quality.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and select new vendors involved in language-related projects.
Requirements

We are looking for a bilingual/fully proficient individual in written and spoken English and Italian. You should have a university degree and be tech-savvy and tech-curious. You should also have an interest in copywriting, e-commerce, transcription, localization, and digital marketing. Additionally, you should have a base knowledge of AI, chatbots, prompt engineering, and AI-generated texts, as well as CAT tools and Machine Translation.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Overseas work or study experience.
  • Translation, revision, and post-editing experience and talent.
  • Proficient in a third language.
  • Multicultural background.
