We are seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join our Seattle-based Payroll team. This role will involve working on various Payroll accounting tasks, projects, and initiatives to take our Payroll G/L Team to the next level. You will be encouraged to own the processes you work on, contributing to process improvement ideas and deploying new processes related to evolving business requirements. You will also identify areas of risk within those processes and create controls to address those risks.

Key Tasks:

This role will involve processing and preparing Payroll-related journal entries and reconciliations for 3 U.S. based legal entities. As a GL Accountant on the Payroll Team, you will be responsible for:

Monthly preparation of Payroll Journal entries for 3 U.S. based legal entities for semi-monthly payroll and off-cycle payroll processing.

Prepare various journal entries and reconciliations on a monthly basis for Payroll-related G/L accounts.

Additional special projects as assigned based on ad hoc needs of the company.

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with strong written and interpersonal communication skills. You should be able to work effectively across multi-department teams, domestically and globally. You should also have robust skills in Microsoft Excel/Office and experience with Oracle eBS and Blackline is a plus. Experience with ADP Globalview is also a plus.

Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance.

2+ years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience.

High-tech industry experience is also a strong plus.

Work Environment:

Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.

Duties require you to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.

Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends) to meet critical quarter-end close and project deadlines.

This position will be located in Guadalajara.
