Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Meatcraft Specialist to join our team at Almare Luxury Collection Adult All-Inclusive Isla Mujeres, Carretera Garrafon Vista Alegre, Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo, Mexico. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for:

- Preparing special meals or substituting items as needed

- Regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters

- Pulling food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator

- Ensuring proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish

- Maintaining food logs

- Monitoring the quality and quantity of food that is prepared

- Communicating assistance needed during busy periods

- Informing Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials

- Informing Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stock menu items

- Ensuring the quality of the food items

- Preparing and cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

- At least 3 years of related work experience

- Technical, trade, or vocational school degree

- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time

- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping

- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
