Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the annual audit plan, ensuring alignment with global standards and firm requirements.
- Perform audit assignments, reviewing workpapers and audit reports, and editing reports prepared by other auditors.
- Schedule and plan audits, initiating project planning, assessing risk, and developing audit direction.
- Lead audit teams, managing projects to quality outcomes while meeting established time and budget constraints.
- Perform audit work, including plan preparation, workpapers, findings, and associated reports, verifying the accuracy of financial records.
- Train new staff, as needed, and stay up-to-date with Kroll's policies and procedures, accounting and auditing developments, and changes in laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with external audit firms and perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- 2-5+ years of experience in financial audit, preferably with a Chartered Accountant designation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence change and work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mind, and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of public auditing policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments, communicate effectively, and provide technical guidance and training.
- Knowledge of auditing concepts and principles, financial recordkeeping procedures, laws, regulations, and standards.
- Ability to persuade and influence others, manage confidential information, and travel up to 20% of the time.
