Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Enovis México. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities related to Production Planning, actual release of work orders to Manufacturing, and ensuring raw materials are available before release (clear to build). They will also be responsible for smoothing the workload within modules and shifts, coordinating priorities, and monitoring execution vs. priorities to Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall Supply process to achieve target service levels while optimizing inventories at the Distribution Centers.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all Sales, Customer Service, and Corporate Supply Chain inquiries regarding supply and order status.
  • Lead the cross-functional consensus supply/demand process for Tijuana site.
  • Manage the Capacity Planning process.
  • Manage the global seasonal planning process to create capacity profiles that enable the seasonal go-to-market process.
  • Collaborate and build/maintain relationships with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Manufacturing to gain insight on sales activities, market trends, and capacity status to be incorporated in supply planning.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to identify misalignment between supply and demand and find a solution, involving all support areas as needed.
  • Create an executable production plan.
  • Communicate with Sales, Marketing, and Corporate Supply Chain about issues that may affect on-time delivery to customers.
  • Measure, monitor, and drive to maintain production schedule adherence at 95% or more.
  • Maintain FG stock at the established levels in the Distribution Centers.
  • Manage the Make to Order Process and consistently deliver product on the requested date.
  • Have complete ownership of the seasonal forecast calendar, including key seasonal data inputs.
  • Identify needs and create tools to improve the productivity of the Planning team.
  • Plan, execute, and release all subassemblies routines to cover Supply Plan received.
  • Maintain right stock workload for optimal levels on subassemblies.
  • Manage the Planning team, providing clear objectives, coaching, and support to achieve these objectives.
  • Lead the Weekly Production planning meetings.
  • Act as the main window contact for the manufacturing site with Sales representatives and customers.
  • Provide continuous feedback to the Demand planning team to keep the priority plan.
  • Identify capacity constraints and collaborate with Production, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Maintenance to keep current the demand and supply.

Requirements:

  • Professional Degree and Certificate Program (preferred)
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP Certification (required)
  • More than 4 years of experience in MRP II, JIT, Kanban, VMI
  • Experience in High mix low volume environments, MTS, and MTO
  • 3 years of desired experience in the medical industry (ISO-13485)
  • Required experience in Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Advanced application programs such as Oracle, SAP, or other major ERP systems
  • Knowledge of Shipping and Customs Procedures, DFT (Demand Flow Technology), Advance Planning Systems
  • Knowledge in sterilization processes (i.e. Gamma, ETO), document control, BOMs, QSR, and ISO (preferred)
  • English Language Requirements: Advanced (Reading and Writing that allow fluid Presentations and/or Participation in Negotiation Processes)
