Job Title: Life Saving Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Life Saving Specialist to join our team at Playa Hotels & Resorts. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of all participants at recreational areas such as pools, beaches, water parks, or ski slopes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor activities and provide assistance when needed to create a secure and enjoyable environment for guests.
  • Enforce facility rules and safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Provide timely rescue and administer first aid and CPR/AED as necessary.
  • Maintain guest satisfaction by addressing and resolving any concerns or complaints.
  • Perform daily safety checks and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
  • Collaborate with other lifeguards and facility staff to maintain high safety standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A High School Degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience working in a similar role or relevant training.
  • Certifications may be required or preferred.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
